Installation and precautions of magnetic reaction kettle

2024-07-30 16:29:33

(1) Equipment environment requirements: The magnetic reaction kettle should be placed in a high-pressure operating room that meets explosion-proof requirements. When multiple magnetic reaction kettles are installed in the laboratory, they should be placed separately. There should be a reliable explosion-proof high wall between each two magnetic reaction kettles, and each operating room should have a direct outlet to the outside or passage. When there are explosive media, the equipment location should be ensured with good ventilation.

(2) The installation and sealing of the magnetic reaction kettle cover, the reaction kettle body and the reaction kettle cover, adopt a conical and arc-shaped contact sealing form, tighten the main bolts to press each other tightly to achieve good sealing. When tightening the main bolts, the tightening torque should not exceed the range of 80-120NM to prevent the sealing surface from being squeezed and worn by overload. Special attention should be paid to the sealing surface. When installing the reaction kettle cover, the reaction kettle cover should be slowly started up and down to prevent collision between the sealing surfaces of the reaction kettle body and the reaction kettle cover. When tightening the main nut, it must be symmetrically divided into multiple times and gradually tightened with even force to achieve a good sealing effect.

(3) At the connection between the front and back nuts, only the front and back nuts can be rotated, and the two curved surfaces must not rotate relative to each other. When assembling all threaded connectors, oil or graphite mixed with oil must be applied.

(4) Prohibit rapid cooling and rapid heating to prevent cracks caused by excessive temperature difference stress.

(5) During operation, the water jacket between the magnetic stirrer and the reactor cover should be filled with circulating water to prevent demagnetization of the magnetic steel due to high temperature.

(6) The use of valves adopts a soft seal. The valve needle needs to be gently rotated to press the sealing surface tightly to achieve a good sealing effect. It is strictly prohibited to use excessive force to avoid damaging the sealing surface.

(7) The safety device adopts a bursting disc device, which should not be easily disassembled and tested. Once it bursts, it must be replaced. For bursting discs that exceed the calibrated bursting pressure but have not burst, they should be replaced immediately.

(8) The opening of the magnetic reaction kettle, the reaction is completed, and after cooling down, the pressure is reduced to normal pressure. Loosen the bolts and carefully remove the cover of the magnetic reaction kettle. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble under pressure.

(9) The cleaning inside the reaction vessel should be carried out by using cleaning solution to clean the residual materials on the vessel body and all sealing surfaces, avoiding the use of hard or soft objects with particles for cleaning.

(10) Newly installed or repaired magnetic reaction vessels must undergo a tightness test before they can be put into normal use. The medium is nitrogen or other inert gases, and the use of flammable and explosive gases is strictly prohibited. The test pressure is 1-1.05 times the working pressure. The pressure increase must be carried out in stages, with a spacing of 0.25 times the working pressure. Each level should be stopped for 5 minutes, and the test pressure should be stopped for 30 minutes. If any air leakage is found, it should be depressurized and repaired before conducting another tightness test until there is no leakage reaction before conducting the experiment.
